Welcome to Psy Topics!

Hey there, I'm Ruth Wagner. I have always been passionate about an assemblage of unrelated topics and things. Such as writing, psychology, wellness, and spirituality, among the few. Out of all those things, I am more voraciously inquisitive about the human psyche, the human mind, motivations for behavior and ways for re-pattering that behavior. Interested in cures or coping strategies for what distresses the mind and results in unwanted actions or consequences.

My intention is to write serviceable and informative articles (most in an academic style), as well as provide a tool for mental health information. In this platform, we will be exploring psychology topics. Diving into the human mind and its functions, particularly those impacting behavior in a given setting. We will discuss a broad list of impacting issues of the mind such as mental illness, as well as cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional issues.

A little more about me:

I have a business degree but the realization that the mind has always been my fascination and the eagerness to understand my own mind as well as the mind of others, motivated me to change my path. That path led to a Bachelor of Science in psychology. I am currently a grad student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.  I am also an author who is grateful for spell check (because even the best authors need editing). I have written and published a couple of children’s books that aim to help with issues children may be dealing with such as fear and my upcoming (inspired by actual events) non-fiction book “Anna; recognizing the signs of a deadly relationship” is to be published in 2019.
